42 extractive question-and-answer pairs built from Report, Part I, Vol-XX, Jammu and Kashmir, published by censusindia.gov.in. The source is a 282-page publication. Source-evidenced topics include volume x, irrigation, agriculture, urban population, rural population, census operations, subsidiary tables, has been. Every answer is a verbatim span of text the source prints, and each row carries the passage it sits in, its offset in that passage, the source quote, the page and the location in the document, so any row can be checked against the original. Question types in the export: 38 factual, 2 list, 2 summary. 4 of the 42 pairs (9.5%) ask explanatory questions; the remaining 38 are factual or table-based questions. 97.62% of rows pass the corpus quality gate.
This dataset contains 42 extractive question-and-answer pairs derived from the 1911 census report of Jammu and Kashmir, published by censusindia.gov.in. Each answer is a verbatim excerpt from the source document, with detailed metadata including page numbers and text offsets for verification.
